Bringing Ronald McDonald House Hospitality Inside the Hospital
The Ronald McDonald House Family Room at Pine Rest Pediatric Center of Behavioral Health is a comfortable respite space for families while a child receives mental health care. The Family Room is an extension of our House program, offering hospitality and support right inside the hospital.
We’re here to help you rest, recharge, and stay close to your child and care team, without ever leaving the hospital.
What the Ronald McDonald House Family Room Offers
The 1,000-square-foot space, located just off the hospital’s main lobby, will include:

Comfortable lounge seating

Quiet room for rest or reflection

Workstations with reservable technology

Children’s play area with books, puzzles, and games

Private restroom with complimentary toiletries
The space will be open to parents, guardians, siblings, and support persons of pediatric patients. Everything in the Family Room is provided at no cost to families.

Eligibility:
The Family Room and its amenities are free for families whose child is receiving care at the Pine Rest Pediatric Center of Behavioral Health. You do not need to be staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Grand Rapids to access the Family Room.
